What we do;
At ING Türkiye, we leverage the power of data science and advanced analytics to create impactful solutions across various domains. Our teams are at the forefront of driving AI transformation in the bank by:
- Building analytical models to optimize business processes, such as operations, credit risk management and customer engagement
- Partnering with different departments to identify and execute data-driven projects
- Developing and deploying advanced analytical solutions for standardized model development processes
- Exploring cutting-edge technologies such as computer vision or generative AI to innovate in customer experience and internal operations
- Collaborating with data engineering teams to create robust data pipelines and scalable infrastructure
- Working closely with international stakeholders while safeguarding our models and ensuring full regulatory compliance
If you think you have most of the following qualifications;
- 6 + years of data science / machine learning experience and at least 1 year leading multidisciplinary teams
- Deep expertise in XGBoost, LightGBM and similar algorithms for classification problems
- Knowledge in computer vision (CNN and Transformer based models)
- Hands on experience with GenAI innovations, including RLHF/Fine Tuning, LangChain and RAG architectures
- Advanced English to manage collaborations with counterparts outside ING Türkiye
- Preferably AI or risk analytics experience in the finance / banking sector
If you think you may take charge of the following responsibilities;
- Lead and develop a 10‑15‑person talent team with diverse skills and domain expertise (35 % of overall mandate)
- Stakeholder management: key interface with model owners, model‑risk management, regulators and Executive Committee presentations (10 %)
- Design, scale and monitor ML models that support Ops, credit‑risk outside the regulatory framework (10 %)
- Build document‑automation and visual‑analytics solutions (Computer Vision / OCR) that accelerate operational transformation (15 %)
- Productize in‑house LLM fine‑tuning and code‑generation solutions while overseeing risk standards (30 %)
