Contract: Full time, 3 years fixed term with possible extension

We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.

We are in search of Channel Development Manager, West Mainland China of Cambridge English. This role will support the Channel Management and Development team to contribute target by implementing the agreed channel strategy in the allocated territory. The role will work with various existing and potential channels in the territory, including Assessment and Learning, expanding current business scope and developing new opportunities.

The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing new opportunities by actively approaching potential customers in various channels including schools, PLSs, universities, education authorities, etc. in the allocated territory.
  • Maintaining close relationship with diversified existing learning and assessment channels, expanding business scope and improving level of cooperation in the allocated territory.
  • Providing post-business development activities support to existing channel base, according to prioritised segmentation, to support the full range of English products and services.
  • Understanding business cycles and processes of different channels, providing full range of support where necessary to ensure highest level of customer experience.

About You

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educated to degree level
  • Knowledge of local educational system and education market
  • Experience in education sector

Essential Skill(s)

  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with internal and external stakeholder in English and Chinese
  • Great public speaking, presentation (individual and group) skills
  • Highly organised and able to work on own initiative, individually and as part of a team
