Job Summary
Calero, the leading technology expense management solution for global enterprises, is looking for a Channel Account Manager to serve as the primary contact for the partner. Reporting to the SVP of Channel Sales, you will play a critical role in leading and developing the company’s channel relationships across our direct reseller, referral partner, and value-added distributor partnerships. You will coordinate with partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals. In this role, you will also be responsible for developing positive working relationships with partner executives to grow business and owning the delivery of the product roadmap through defining requirements and directing enablement resources.
This position is available to candidates in the CENTRAL United States. The ideal candidate is located in Chicago.
Essential Job Responsibilites
- Work directly with prospective and existing partners to develop strong account relationships that drive partner enablement and revenue.
- Work with manager to plan sales and partner revenue development opportunities
- Work with partners to develop sales proposals, quotations, and pricing
- Educate partners about product portfolio and complimentary services offered
- Provide sales and logistical support for channel partners located across the United States, Canada, and EMEA
- Adapt to dynamic changes related to sales opportunities
- Articulate the value of Calero’s solutions and align them to the customers’ critical business issues
EDUCATION/SPECIAL LICENSES OR CERTIFICATION
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, with an emphasis in Marketing or Sales
Experience
- 5+ years working in Channel Sales position
- Salesforce CRM experience is preferred
- Proven experience in managing channel partners in a commercial software environment
- Proven proficiency in analyzing, reporting, and improving key sales channel performance metric
- Self-driven to manage a diverse workload and competing deadlines

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$150,000 annually. It is important to Calero that potential candidates for this position understand that compensation depends on numerous factors including the geographic location where the role will be performed, skills required, experience, complexity, travel, and market rate.
