The Opportunity: The Technical Business Analyst / BSA is a critical role in the successful implementation and optimization of Flextrack’s Vendor Management System (VMS) on the Salesforce.com platform. This role requires strong consulting experience, ideally in the VMS, ATS, or contingent workforce domain, and a deep understanding of Salesforce configurations and integrations. This individual will be responsible for eliciting and defining business requirements, translating them into user stories, designing and configuring Salesforce-based solutions, and managing sprint and release planning to drive projects to completion. The ideal candidate has a strong technical acumen, experience in Salesforce configurations, integration and data flows, and a proven ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders in an Agile environment. Day to day you will: Client Consultation & Business Analysis Lead requirements gathering sessions and design workshops with clients and partners, identifying business challenges and proposing solutions. Translate business and technical requirements into actionable user stories, process workflows, and design specifications. Develop detailed documentation (functional specs, configuration guides, process maps) to support project implementation. Act as a trusted advisor, recommending best practices and guiding clients through solution design and system optimization. Solution Design & Implementation Configure and customize Salesforce-based VMS solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards. Collaborate with internal technical teams (developers, architects, QA) to define integrations, workflows, and data models. Support API integrations between Salesforce and external systems (HRIS, ATS, ERP, etc.), ensuring seamless data flows. Develop and configure Salesforce automations, workflows, validation rules, and reports to enhance system functionality. Quality Assurance & Testing Participate in UAT and QA processes, ensuring solutions meet business and technical specifications before deployment. Conduct data uploads and migrations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client data standards. Assist in developing test cases and acceptance criteria, collaborating with QA teams to drive system validation. Continuous Improvement & Best Practices Stay updated on Salesforce releases, industry trends, and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for process and system improvements. Contribute to Flextrack’s product roadmap, advocating for features and enhancements based on client needs. Develop and maintain internal knowledge bases and implementation best practices to support scalable delivery. It would be amazing if you have: 5+ years of experience in technical business analysis, solution consulting, or system implementation, ideally within the VMS, ATS, or contingent workforce space. 3+ years of experience working with Salesforce, including configuration, automation, and data management. Ability to work with C-suite executives and client stakeholders, presenting recommendations and driving decision-making. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on optimizing business processes and driving efficiencies. Expertise in business process modeling, requirements gathering, and translating functional needs into technical solutions. Knowledge of workflow development, system integrations, and data migration strategies. Experience implementing enterprise SaaS solutions with a consulting or professional services focus. Salesforce certifications (Admin, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Developer) are a strong plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to liaise between technical and business stakeholders. Comfortable working in an Agile delivery model, managing sprints, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
