Summary

Responsibilities

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining BI software and systems (Microsoft Fabric), including integration with databases and data warehouses.
  • Developing dashboards, visualizations, and reports (Power BI).
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates to existing BI solutions to enhance functionality and incorporate new data sources or analytics capabilities.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of the data used for analysis.
  • Implement data governance policies and practices.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • Proficient in Power BI and able to create dynamic and insightful dashboards and reports
  • Familiar with data warehousing architectures, and experience with ETL tools
  • Strong skills in SQL for querying and manipulating datasets
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R for data manipulation and automation
  • Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
