We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Manager, Business Development. This full-time and permanent position is based in Shanghai and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Commercial department and its’ growth.


Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual sales target (Annual Contract Value) assigned;
  • Look for new business opportunities to provide one-stop Corporate services to prospects /existing clients, covering both Greater China domestic client going outbound and foreign clients doing business inbound;
  • Initiate commercial/sales plan with key objectives and metrics to build and generate new direct opportunities for new business;
  • Responsible for channel & new client relationship development and existing client relationship maintenance, through consultative sales approach;
  • Create brand awareness and promote corporate & fiduciary services to potential clients through sales and marketing campaigns;
  • Work with Compliance team to complete KYC due diligence for client on-boarding purpose.


Key requirements

  • At least 5 years working experience in business development role gained in corporate services sectors or any similar professional services industry Working experience in corporate services industry or consulting industry is a preferred;
  • Bachelor degree or above with major in Law, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics or equivalent experience.
  • Outstanding sales skills with a track record of closing new business;
  • Self-driven, result focus, proactive, multitasking, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure;
  • Good presentation and negotiation skills in both English and Chinese (oral and written);
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate well at all organizational levels;
  • Fast learner to acquire product/ service know-how;
  • Strong problem solving skills and can always think ahead of client’s needs
  • Strong sense of priority setting, urgency and results-orientation.

Good knowledge of Foreign working culture and organizational behaviour, work experience in foreign country is a plus
