Designation Manager – Key Accounts & Strategy Years of Experience 3 to 5 years Location Remote You would be Leadership Team reporting to About the Opportunity: This opportunity is to contribute in Recity’s endeavor to bring 3.5 lakh MT of plastic waste into the circular economy. Recity has set up Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) across multiple geographies in India with a focus on ending plastic pollution specifically in environmentally vulnerable areas like oceans, rivers, forests & hills. Recity aims to converge multiple industry partners to participate in this endeavor to keep plastics in the economy and out of the environment. Objectives: Develop sustainable business models to maximize circular economy in Recity locations Acquire customers to invest into creating circular economy of plastics in Recity locations Deliver end-to-end traceable recyclates (PCR) using Recity’s Waste Intelligence (wi) platform Key results: You would be responsible for the complete lifecycles from acquisition to the renewal of circular economy in plastic projects of a customers: Business development – Circular Economy in Plastics o Acquire business from organizations providing innovative products for plastic neutrality o Acquire business from FMCG & allied industries for EPR/ CSR/ Plastic neutrality o On-board customers through custom solutions for ‘Hard to recycle’ plastics o Develop strategic partnerships with value chain to provide end-to-end traceability Project Management o Set-up project teams and align cross-functional teams o Manage project partnerships and governance o Prepare progress reports and presentations o Unlock new project opportunities Must Have’s: o Expertise in report & proposal making o Advanced excel skills to develop business models & project budgets o Plastic waste management sector knowledge o Strong written as well as verbal communication skills o Knowledge of applicable policies, standards, and best practices o Ability to prioritize and anticipate client expectations to manage projects efficiently *************** About Recity: Recity is an award-winning circular waste management company, and our purpose is to keep plastics in the economy and out of the environment.
