About The Job

We are seeking an experienced eCommerce Product Manager who will develop and own the roadmap for existing and new eCommerce product(s) designed specifically for distributors, manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers. The Unilog cloud-based eCommerce product suite is an all-in-one eCommerce solution powered by enhanced product content services and provides customers with storefront features including content management and site design, intuitive search, robust product content, shopping cart, analytics, and business system integrations (i.e., ERP, POS, etc.).

As a product manager for our eCommerce product(s), you will pursue a deep understanding of the market-based needs, pain points, and trends for eCommerce within our targeted verticals. You will use this understanding to ensure the Unilog eCommerce product enables our customers to reach more buyers, increase revenues, and realize operational efficiencies.

In alignment with the strategic product vision of Unilog and goals of the product team, you will create the strategy and eCommerce product roadmap. You will execute the roadmap by working with our customers, partners, software engineering, UX, marketing, and other teams. You will create a clear vision for the required feature set, define requirements, and prioritize the delivery of features in a way that maximizes the benefits for our customers.

This role requires approximately 30% travel, including visits to customer and prospect sites, attendance at industry events, and participation in strategic planning meetings. Candidates should also be excited to bring AI-first thinking into their product work, leveraging emerging technologies to transform customer experience, accelerate development, and uncover new opportunities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Pursue an understanding of how the eCommerce product can further increase our customers success.
  • Talk to customers, demonstrate the product, enable the success of channel partners, and develop good relationships with vendors.
  • Develop and present strategic business models, product positioning, market personas, and competitive analysis.
  • Own the eCommerce product roadmap by defining how to improve existing features, add new features, and extend the usability of the product.
  • Write requirements (User Stories) which adhere to the vision for the feature as you have defined it. Provide guidance when needed.
  • Be the eCommerce product subject matter expert for our customers, implementation teams, and partner network.
  • Perform win/loss analysis to inform your product planning initiatives.
  • Be accountable to yourself, the product roadmap, and the product team.
  • Develop product messaging and Go-to-Market strategies in conjunction with product marketing efforts
  • Travel (~30%) to engage with customers, attend industry events, conduct market research, and support go-to-market and enablement activities.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to infuse AI and automation into product capabilities and internal processes, collaborating with engineering and data teams to test, evaluate, and scale those :

Education : BS/BA in Business, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience. 3+ years working in a SaaS Product Management role.
  • eCommerce experience preferred.
  • Experience product managing within the Pragmatic Product Management Framework (or like).
  • Demonstrated experience launching new software products and services
  • Product competitive research
  • SEO and use of web analytics tools (Matomo, Looker, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Software requirements definition and working with UX and software development teams to turn requirements into market-ready product features.
  • Experience evaluating or incorporating AI-driven features into SaaS or eCommerce platforms is preferred.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 30% of the time for customer visits, conferences, and internal meetings.

Technical Skills

  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI tools (e.g., LLMs, recommendation engines, predictive analytics, generative content tools) into product management workflows and product features.
  • Familiarity with emerging trends in AI for B2B commerce, especially personalization, search, and automation, is highly valued.
  • Functional feature requirements writing
  • Aha! product roadmapping (or the like)
  • JIRA issue and project tracking (or the like)
  • Microsoft Office Skills :
  • Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
