Position Summary
As a Business Development Regional Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and expanding our client base. Your primary responsibilities will involve developing and nurturing relationships including wirehouse platforms, family offices, pension funds, consultants, endowments, and foundations. You will be tasked with promoting our investment products, articulating our value proposition, and ultimately securing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our client base within target market segments.
- Identify prospective clients and conduct thorough market research to understand their needs, preferences, and investment objectives.
- Lead presentations, pitches, and product demonstrations to showcase our offerings and differentiate us from competitors.
- Negotiate terms of agreements and contracts, collaborating with legal and compliance teams as necessary.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing key performance metrics, business development activities, and market insights.
Required Skills:
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services sales with a focus on asset management.
- Proven track record of success in raising capital preferably in a team setting.
- In-depth understanding of global investment markets and long-only equity investment strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong work ethic and a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
