Summary

Job brief:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales / Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the pharmaceutical engineering design consultancy sector (EPCM), with a proven track record of generating new business and maintaining strong relationships with pharmaceutical clients. The candidate should have experience working with both greenfield and brownfield projects companies and possess an excellent network within the pharmaceutical industry.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering

• MBA in Marketing

• 15+ years of relevant experience in Sales / Business Development, particularly within the EPCM sectors / Sterile Equipment selling

• Strong connections with life sciences and pharmaceutical clients Responsibilities


- Client Relationship Management:

• Visit pharmaceutical / Life science clients to present the company profile and build strong, lasting relationships.

• Follow up with clients to generate inquiries for greenfield and brownfield projects.

• Prepare detailed proposals, scope documents, and cost estimations.


- Brand Development & Marketing:

• Promote the company's brand through various activities such as exhibitions, LinkedIn updates, Seminars and meetings with new and existing clients.

• Market company capabilities to win business in EPCM projects.


- Lead Generation & Sales Strategy:

• Connect with pharmaceutical clients to gather leads.

  • Track and maintain records of leads, opportunities, and awarded projects.
  • Prepare Proposal in effective way to bring all project execution skills
  • Negotiate terms of agreements and draft contracts.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to finalize pricing strategies.


- Project and Client Feedback Management:

• Take client feedback during project execution and relay it to relevant teams.

• Prepare monthly progress reports showcasing sales and marketing activities.


- Fieldwork & Travel:

• Travel approximately 75% of the time to meet clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

• Develop strategies to ensure successful Lead outcomes and increase business opportunities.


- Requirements and skills

• Proven experience in business development or sales within the pharmaceutical engineering sectors/ Selling Pharma equipment

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint preparation and proposal writing.

• Solid understanding of the client’s needs and the project execution process.

• Ability to analyze the bigger picture and develop long-term strategies. • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

• Ability to manage conflicts and crises effectively.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
