About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) who excels in closing deals and building strong relationships. In this role, you'll take ownership of qualified leads, run strategic sales conversations, and close new business. As a key member of the founding sales team, you’ll play a critical role in building a scalable pipeline and driving revenue growth, particularly in the first 90 days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Sales Ownership: Manage the full sales cycle from discovery to closing, with support from presales for solutioning.
  • Revenue Generation: Convert meetings booked by Business Development Executives (BDEs) into active opportunities and actual sales.
  • Targeted Engagement: Identify and map decision-makers within target accounts and foster relationships with them.
  • Outbound Prospecting: Collaborate with BDEs for outbound prospecting when needed to expand the pipeline.
  • Collaboration with Delivery Teams: Work closely with the delivery teams to ensure accurate scoping and effective solutioning.
  • CRM Management: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activities, pipeline progress, and customer interactions in CRM tools.
  • Revenue Milestones: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets consistently.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 3–6 years of experience in selling IT services, SaaS, consulting, or technology solutions.
  • Proven Success: Demonstrated history of closing deals and achieving revenue targets (provide concrete examples of past performance).
  • Negotiation & Influencing Skills: Strong ability to negotiate and influence multiple stakeholders to close deals.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: High energy and the drive to work independently in a startup environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiar with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and proposal tools.
  • Strategic & Tactical: Able to balance long-term strategic planning with short-term, tactical execution.
