Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential clients across industries to generate consulting business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the initial engagement phase.
- Develop and execute business development plans aligned with the firm’s strategic goals.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and competitors.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and pitch decks tailored to client needs.
- Achieve business development targets by converting leads into clients and driving revenue growth.
- Cross-sell and upsell consulting services to existing clients by identifying additional areas where the firm can add value.
- Represent Acumen Business Catalyst at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Leverage personal and professional networks to build the firm's visibility and credibility.
- Work closely with consulting teams to ensure seamless delivery of client solutions.
- Provide inputs on client needs to align service offerings and project execution.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience:
- Only hiring individuals with 3-4 years of relevant experience in business development in management consulting or professional services firms.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Core Competencies:
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding business development targets.
- Strong understanding of consulting services and the ability to articulate their value to clients.
- Exceptional English communication skills.
- Negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to independently manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
Additional Skills:
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and presentation software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions.
