Summary

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team in the Events & Exhibitions industry. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of proven experience in driving sales, building strategic partnerships, and identifying business opportunities in this sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, industry research, and client outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term collaboration.
  • Pitch event and exhibition solutions tailored to client needs, including customized booths, sponsorships, and marketing packages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, production, and operations) to deliver client-focused proposals and presentations.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and track progress using CRM tools.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote the company and generate leads.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor research to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with company policies.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of proven experience in business development or sales within the Events & Exhibitions industry.
  • Strong industry network and understanding of event planning, production, and client servicing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
Preferred:
  • Experience working with large-scale exhibitions, B2B events, or trade fairs.
  • Existing client portfolio in the events and exhibitions sector.
