This position is a hybrid role based in our Mississauga office, with the opportunity to work 2 days remotely per week

Role:

  • Drive revenue growth and ensuring partner satisfaction through the Dell Client Solutions Group's channel ecosystem.
  • Act as a key point of contact for partners, providing technical expertise, competitive insights, and roadmap information, ultimately contributing to Dell's overall CSG growth.
  • Present and demonstrate Dell’s range of Client and End User Solutions and IT services to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits of Dell solutions.
  • Ingram Micro and Dell sponsored marketing programs & Demand generation activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as a liaison between vendors and the organization.
  • Provides specialized consultative service and implements, drives, and maintains vendor programs, marketing, and training.
  • Sales forecasting/ pipeline management and Key Strategic Objectives.
  • Review and negotiate terms of vendor contracts and communicate with vendors regarding day-to-day matters.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and monitor vendor performance.
  • Research invoice and contractual issues and resolve discrepancies.

What you bring to the role:

  • Diploma or degree within Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or account management, preferably within distribution or partner management.
  • Must possess a hunter mentality, being proactive, driven, and strategic in achieving goals, consistently seeking new opportunities, and effectively tackling challenges.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying their needs and providing tailored solutions to drive sales growth.
  • Strong experience with MS office suite.
  • Ability to make significant contributions to processes and systems.
  • Seasoned professional individual contributor who works independently.
  • Provides solutions to a variety of complex technical and business matters.
  • Will champion significant projects, programs and business initiatives using demonstrated creativity and ingenuity.
  • Specialist in technical or business skills. Individuals with a customer focus have developed the acumen to cultivate and develop lasting customer relations.
  • Primarily travel within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), with up to 10% travel across North America.
