Your Role

As the Road Logistics Business Development Manager, you'll be leading the development of Road Logistics by actively showing customer excellence and role model behavior while acting as liaison between sales and the business unit.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities, to include services/products that are relevant to current market conditions.
• Collaborative engagement in sales activities with sales team members.
• Identify new target markets and areas.
• Create senior level entry points to key accounts.
• Support pricing strategies for RFQ's and clients.
• Customer retention engagement.
• Leads annual GRI process.
• Ensures proper transitioning of customer to operations in line with customer requirements Inputs and timely update of sales activities utilizing CRM system.
• Preparing and conducting customer visits, presentations, negotiations, QBR's, and contracts.
• Other duties as assigned by the Company.

Your Skills And Experiences

• 5+ years industry experience in Canadian Road Logistics.
• Understanding of Road Logistics, including sales and account management, operations, service offerings and overall market.
• Post secondary education (preferred).
• Sales and negotiation skills.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
