About the Role:

TCL North America is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Display Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and growth of the commercial display business within our company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of product sales and strategies, and drive revenue growth in the market.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establish professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts including resellers, SIs, Pro-AVs, and NSPs and distribution partners,
  • Develop and implement strategies to gain market share within partner channels.
  • Proactively generate new leads through various methods including networking, cold outreach, industry events, and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Qualify leads based on established criteria, understanding their needs, budget, and decision-making process.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and partners.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and execute the go-to-market strategy, with regular tracking and reporting, while positioning the business for continued growth in future years.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals tailored to individual client needs.
  • Manage forecast accuracy and optimize inventory levels (channel and TCL).
  • Manage overstocks and aged inventory and prevent returns through proactive sales actions.
  • Manage potential channel conflict with other sales channels by fostering excellent communication both internally and externally.
  • Proactively recruit new qualifying partners/resellers.
  • Regularly observe and report on competitive products, pricing, and promotions.
  • Represent TCL Professional at customer meetings, trade shows, exhibitions, and customer events.
  • Manage administrative tasks with support from internal teams.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in digital signage sales.
  • Strong understanding of commercial display products and technologies (Large Format Displays, Interactive Flat Panel, dvLED and more).
  • Proven ability to successfully develop and own customer relationships and account management process.
  • Proven contract negotiation and sales experience.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and execution skills as well as a desire to work in a challenging fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all levels of personnel, both inside and outside the company.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
  • Ability to review detailed product development, marketing documents, and media materials as needed.
  • Experience with Microsoft Standard Office Suite; Advanced Excel and Power Point skills required.
  • Travel up to 50% within market.


Salary Range - $90K - $120K/yr
