Job Overview

The Business Development Manager will have overall responsibility for enabling the sales of technology products and services in Greece. Responsibilities include building a long-term sustainable go to market plan and sales plan. This may also include a significant number of high volume, short cycle style transactions. The successful candidate will also oversee the development and closure of all deals.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Accelerating the adoption of technology products and services.
• Supporting defined accounts in their partnership journey with the Vendors.
• Developing long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders of the customer organization.
• Collaborating with internal and external Teams to support customer interests.
• Delivering propositions to clients.
• Profitably delivering solutions and products to clients against revenue sales and margin contribution targets for the Greek national market.
• Staying current in both technology and business innovations.
• Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, sales and marketing tactics.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or relevant experience.
• Sales or pre-sales experience in B2B environments, in a solution-selling / technology-related environment.
• Proven track record of growth and quota achievement.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to drive projects to completion.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in local language and in English.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Technical Degree (Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or equivalent) will be considered an advantage.
• Relevant selling experience will be considered an advantage.
