Summary

Role Overview:

This role focuses on international business development and sales, requiring a proactive individual who enjoys fieldwork, traveling internationally at least 30% of the time, and converting high-quality leads into successful deals. The ideal candidate will have strong B2B sales experience, exceptional communication skills, ability to build long-term business relationships and the know-how to prepare necessary paperwork for tenders/ quotation when required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert leads provided by the sales team into closed deals.
  • Identify and engage potential clients through proactive outreach and follow-ups.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and partners in Africa and other international markets.
  • Travel internationally (at least 30% of the time) for client meetings, negotiations, and industry events.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals, including handling necessary paperwork for tenders.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to optimize lead generation and sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and track client interactions using CRM software.


Requirements:

  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Minimum 4 years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Fluent in both French and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in handling tender processes, including preparing necessary paperwork and ensuring compliance with client requirements.
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to strategically manage long sales cycles with patience and persistence.
  • Comfortable using CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other sales tools.
