Backed by a Series A round led by Algebris, Primo Capital, and Crédit Agricole, we’re entering an exciting scale-up phase and growing our business development team to bring our biomaterials to global markets.

🎯 Role Summary

As a Business Development Intern, you will act as the right hand to the Head of Business Development, with a laser focus on outbound prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline growth. This is a high-impact, front-line role for someone eager to develop commercial skills in a sustainability-driven startup.

📌 Core Responsibilities

• Generate new leads through targeted outbound efforts: email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, cold calling, and CRM/database tools
• Research, identify, and qualify potential clients across priority industries and geographies
• Build and manage prospect lists, keeping data organized and up-to-date in the CRM
• Support the execution of multi-touch outbound cadences and follow-ups
• Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimize outreach messaging
• Help create and adapt commercial assets (e.g. outreach scripts, email templates, pitch materials)
• Report weekly on pipeline progress, lead conversion metrics, and market feedback
• Collaborate with the business development team to support early-stage conversations with leads

🧠 What We’re Looking For

• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken), with clarity and persuasiveness
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• A self-starter mindset, hungry to learn and not afraid of cold outreach
• Fluency in Italian or English (both is a plus)
• Currently enrolled in a managerial, economic, STEM, or humanities degree
• Available for a curricular or extracurricular internship
