Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst in New York, NY. Key Tasks: * Work on design, development and implementation of Business Systems * Analyzing and processing large data sets along with data evaluation * Generate business knowledge reports * Define MIS requirements and needs * Evaluate and improve information processes as needed * Perform routine data checks * MIS analyst reporting to Head of Strategic Projects and Architecture * Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and be able to communicate status * Work with tools like Power BI and SQL * Collect and analyze data to identify methods that improve decision making * Assist with appropriate documentation supporting projects * Coordinate with GIS development, business team and business stakeholders to help implement GIS projects and systems * Provide reporting to Technology PMO for tracking projects status and progress* Strong education and experience working with Financial Services and Banking organizations * Knowledge of tools for data analysis and reporting (i.e., SQL, Power BI, web development and .NET) * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels and influence across various organizations in the company * Candidate must be able to continually assess and communicate appropriate status to senior management for proper decision making
