The Opportunity
This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
As the Brand Marketing Manager, New Medical Sensors you will be developing and overseeing the brand strategy for new products, including positioning, visual identity, messaging and market research. You will play a key role in developing and executing marketing campaign strategy and content creation. This role is crucial for the success of the program’s marketing objectives and requires cross-functional leadership who partners and influences across multiple disciplines, and strong project leadership abilities.
What You’ll Work On
Develop product positioning and key messaging to articulate value offer, in partnership with cross-functional teams.
Develop brand strategy and lead projects from concept to completion to create brand standards and architecture and visual identity.
Drive global marketing projects from concept to completion, overseeing all aspects including requirements gathering, scope definition, creative briefs, design, content creation, timelines and approvals.
Manage market research activities including defining objectives and scope, managing deliverables and timelines.
Manage marketing communications, develop content and execute marketing campaigns.
Collaborate and partner with product management, medical affairs, commercial, regulatory, legal and external vendors to deliver against fast-paced deadlines and goals.
Monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate the performance of brand and marketing tactics to ensure objectives are met.
Independently performs assignments with limited instruction and develops approach to a solution based on needs/goals
Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies
Other duties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the business
Travel as needed, approximately 25%
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications, or similar business-related degree
Minimum 8 years of experience with 3-5 years of progressively responsible Marketing product/brand management experience in medtech/health care/OTC marketing or combined with consumer packaged goods marketing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree
MBA strongly preferred due to the business complexity and strategic focus of the position
Previous experience working in a start-up organization
Advanced level PC skills with previous experience creating executive level presentation content in Word, Excel and Ppt
Previous experience demonstrating influence and leadership skills to successfully deliver programs and projects on time, within budget, and scope.
Previous experience presenting and delivering compelling business insights to executive level leaders
Proven experience with successful collaborating with cross-functional teams to attain business objectives.
Proven ability to use analytical skills and financial acumen to influence positive business outcomes.

The base pay for this position is $112,000.00 – $224,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
