As a key member of our Go-To Market team, your mission is to ignite success within your assigned territory. This means delving deep into every opportunity and project, understanding their unique needs, vision, and goals. You'll become the expert on Vortex products and solutions, guiding customers through our sales process with finesse. Your proactive approach, strong communication skills and attention to detail will ensure seamless coordination and execution every step of the way.

You will collaborate and support closely both our direct and indirect sales channel, fostering strong partnerships and leveraging collective expertise to drive results. You will work intimately with colleagues in a cross-disciplinary and collaborative manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding Vortex's business objectives, sales processes, customer journey and overarching goals.
  • Monitoring sales dashboards and territory sales targets to expedite the advancement of opportunities, in collaboration with the outside sales team.
  • Employing proactive strategic approaches to accelerate the customer buying journey and influence favorable outcomes.
  • Familiarizing oneself with the intricacies of designated territories.
  • Cultivating strategic partnerships with stakeholders within assigned territories, recognizing and understanding the unique operational methodologies of each entity as crucial elements for success.
  • Serving as a conduit between external sales team, customers, and internal teams —including project development, logistics, accounting, and customer service—orchestrating meetings among colleagues to clarify project intricacies or gather additional information as needed.
  • Scrutinizing incoming documents from customers and partners (i.e.: PIDs, drawings, sketch etc.) to verify the completeness, and accuracy of provided information.
  • Validating the feasibility of each project request and ensuring all needed information is accurate and complete to start the internal process.
  • Creating and maintaining virtual project folders and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) opportunities.
  • Building opportunities quotations and proposals proficiently utilizing a range of sales software tools, such as the CRM, product configurators, and digital proposal platforms.
  • Thoroughly reviewing all outgoing customer documentation to guarantee precision and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Compiling essential data for order placement and meticulously inputting it into the CRM system and any other related tools.

Qualifications:

  • University or college degree in Business or related field
  • 2 prior years' experience in similar role, ideally in complex sales
