Responsibility & ownership for business development for Wind Blade business with ensuring delivery of regional mandate
Contributes to the revenue and profitability targets by working with Blade Key Accounts through coordinating (with relevant BU experts) all business levers such as strategy, Business Development, Portfolio management as well as GKAM and Local sales team, etc.
Take lead to search for new opportunities at Owner and Turbine Co located in China, and liaison with GKAM and Local sales
Work for market share expansion at China Blade business, via leading local sales team on focused manufactories
Set up Technology and Product promotion plan and lead execution in China
Key Accountabilities
Formulate China Blade Business Development Plan in close coordination with regional sales manager, assuring alignment with global segment strategy and tactic plan
Implement the development strategy into operational action planning and the regional plan, and drive course correction where needed
Work for regional revenue and profitability performance vis a vis agreed mandate, to input to the pricing excellence contact when needed
Get in depth understanding of needs at Turbine and Blade key customers through market research, including voice of customer discussions and interactions with regional sales team and GKAM
Collect competitive intelligence, identify and analyze industry needs & trends
Identify and prioritize commercial opportunities with GKAM and regional sales team and drive spec into the key accounts and create new business leads
Participate in IBP monthly review and update on project progress
Be familiar with all applicable corporate and site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct, HSE standards and always in compliance with all applicable regulations
Key Activities
Experience
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business/Engineering, MBA preferred
At least 8+ years of experience in sales, marketing, product management or business development functions
Chemical background is an advantage, paints and coating industry will be a plus
Ideally experience in more than one industry/segment
Analytical mind with good financial acumen
Demonstrates strong performance orientation
Showcase organizational acumen
Solid interpersonal and influencing ability
Willingness to search for regional and customer insights that can enable formulation of optimal value propositions
