Job Description

Gentis is looking for a highly skilled Solution Architect with a proven track record in the banking sector, particularly in the areas of investment services, daily banking, and risk management. As a key contributor to major digital transformation projects, you will play a pivotal role in designing robust, scalable, and secure solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs into comprehensive technical solutions
• Design and document solution blueprints for banking platforms and services
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and development teams
• Guide project teams through implementation and ensure architectural compliance
• Maintain best practices in solution design, integration, and security
• Participate in architectural reviews and governance boards

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 7 years as a Solution Architect in financial institutions
• Deep understanding of investment platforms, daily banking operations, and risk frameworks
• Expertise in Java/Spring Boot, API design, microservices, and event-driven architecture
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate
• Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills
• Experience with integration patterns, messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and data platforms

Nice to Have:

• Experience with core banking systems (e.g., Temenos, Avaloq)
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (Basel, GDPR, EBA)
• Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS) and DevOps environments
• Bilingual in Dutch or French
