Summary:

The Back-end PHP Developer will be supporting one of our clients who is into Automotive Internet products and solutions to Motor Vehicle Dealer Groups and OEMs. Join a growing business that’s at the forefront of change and be responsible for the development, organization, and implementation of customer-facing platforms. Work with business stakeholders and make your mark by surprising and delighting customers and becoming an integral member within key re-branding projects.

About the Job

Key Duties:

• Develop, organize, and implement customer-facing platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to enhance customer experience.
• Participate in key re-branding projects.
• Write good, clean code and review and debug your code.
• Design and build solutions with technical documentation.
• Provide project scope and estimates.
• Work alongside other developers and teams within the business.

Skills and Experience

Essential Skills:

• 2+ years writing PHP in a professional environment.
• Exceptional knowledge of OOP/MVC PHP frameworks and practices (Laravel, Yii, etc.).
• 2+ years' experience with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML & CSS.
• Advanced working capability with APIs.
• Advanced Database experience using MySQL.
• Advanced NodeJS experience.
• AWS cloud experience (desirable).

Qualifications:

• PHP
• Laravel
• Git/Bitbucket experience
• AWS certification is a plus
