Position: AWS Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid)

Pay Range: 15 LPA- 30 LPA

Durtation: 1 year contract + extensions + possible conversion

Interview Process: 2 rounds

Must Haves:

-4+ years of public cloud security experience, specifically in AWS.

-Strong knowledge of services such as CloudTrail, GuardDuty, VPC, EKS, etc.

-Proficient in any of the following security domains: IAM, Network, Cloud, Data, etc.

-Understanding and proficient with security frameworks and standards such as ISO, NIST, CIS

-Knowledge of automation and orchestration tools (preference is Terraform)

-Active AWS Certifications (can be Associate, Engineer, Solutions Architect, etc)

Day to Day:

A large financial enterprise in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join their team in assistance with service certification within public cloud, specifically AWS. You will help lead the certification process for AWS Services, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities will include developing and implementing security policies, procedures and controls to protect AWS environments along with regular security assessments and audits of AWS services to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediations. Within AWS, it is important to maintain and manage documentations including policies, risk assessments and reports. As an Engineer, you will have exposure into architecture and it is desired that you understand the configuration of resources and how they are deployed within AWS using the shared responsibility model.
