Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers.
• Define and implement QA metrics and standards.
• Coordinate and oversee all testing activities across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and DevOps to ensure seamless integration of QA processes.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Proven experience in automated testing, including hands-on experience with industry-standard testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Proficiency in various programming languages, such as Python, Java, Golang, Javascript for developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Experience with performance testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner, is highly desirable. (not mandatory but very desired)
• Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies and testing concepts (test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and diagnose software defects
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and report issues to the development team for timely resolution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process, identifying areas for automation and optimization.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in automated testing tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive test automation framework.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Proactively identify potential risks and issues related to software quality and propose mitigation strategies.
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• Automation Testing (Selenium with Java/Python) - Extensive experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, Java/Python.
• API Testing (Postman/Rest Assured)-Strong experience in API Testing using Postman/Rest Assured. Should be able to automate API tests and validate responses, status codes, and performance.
• Test Management Tools (JIRA/TestRail/ALM)- Proficiency in Test Case Management, Test Execution, and Defect Tracking using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or ALM.
• Ability to create and manage Test Plans and Test Reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
