Summary

Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in automation projects to join our team in Noida.
  • This role drives operational excellence initiatives across our organization, including new business practices, process improvements, and large-scale IT implementations.
  • The role is accountable for the creation and maintenance of a critical path, complete with milestones, targets, and identification of responsible parties.
  • With complete ownership of the tasks and assignments, delegating as needed to other subject matter experts.
  • The Project Manager will ensure stakeholder and shareholder buy-in and facilitate regular communication to convey progress, inhibitors, or roadblocks to the successful completion of the project.
  • Our ideal candidate is a seasoned Project Leading Professional with experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • PMP certification is a must and AGILE is nice to have.
  • The new hire will work closely with the Senior Director of Operations and will have the ability to work with every department within our company.
  • The Ideal candidate will be an extension of the executive sponsor and needs to be able to navigate within a highly matrixed organization.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage automation and transformation projects across functional areas.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans with defined milestones and ownership.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and ensure transparent communication of project status.
  • Collaborate across departments to implement process and system enhancements in a distribution center environment.
  • Direct, manage, and ensure collaboration within a team of subject matter experts from different operational functional areas in the planning, execution, and governance of projects.
  • Provide leadership and oversight on all projects and in some unique cases, manage activities.
  • Interact with the Senior Director of Operations as the primary point of escalation beyond project management.
  • Optimize the profitability of the Project Management organization to meet or exceed budget targets.
  • Assess and manage resource allocations to ensure that established cost, time, and quality goals are met
  • Provide technical support and guidance (including scope definition, risk identification, escalation and mitigation, resource planning, goals, and deliverables) to functional area leaders.
  • Identify and escalate impacts to project scope, resources, schedule, or budget through standard methods.
  • Ensure project leadership personnel work to the highest quality standards and maintain compliance with established SOPs, working guidelines, project plans, and all regulatory requirements.
  • Understand and manage project/program interdependencies to achieve program milestones/deliverables.
  • Conduct evaluations and implement required changes for all projects (including mid-project recovery of at-risk projects, re-scoping, postponement, or cancellation).
  • Identify and help create KPIs and lead continuous improvement.
  • Recognize, exemplify, and adhere to the values that center on our commitment to quality, our people, clients, and performance.
  • Manage project workload with continued assessments and adjustments as needed.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, development, and coaching to Functional Area leaders and project team members.


Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience in project management.
  • Experience in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record managing automation and systems deployment projects.
  • PMP certification is mandatory; AGILE certification is a plus.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; comfortable working in a matrixed, fast-paced organization.
  • A minimum of six years of experience in project management, including extensive project management and line management experience or proven competencies for this position.


Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Google Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with others in a team setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer service demeanor
  • Ability to travel domestically and the ability to spend the night at our different offices when needed.
