We are looking for an experienced Automation Manager to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of automated systems across operations. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing efficiency, minimizing manual efforts, and ensuring high production quality. In addition to managing automation projects, the position also involves customer engagement, oversight of service orders, and end-to-end execution of AFM (Automation, Fabrication, and Maintenance) workflows.

Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning & Automation Leadership:

• Design and implement automation strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Assess current operations to identify automation opportunities and introduce innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  
  
  

Project Management:

• Oversee the design, setup, and commissioning of automation systems in line with AFM standards.
• Ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery with adherence to quality and compliance standards.
• Work with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for seamless system integration.
  
  
  

Customer Relationship Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding AFM projects and services.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Incorporate feedback to improve service delivery and product offerings.
  
  
  

AFM Order Execution:

• Manage the intake, prioritization, and tracking of AFM orders.
• Coordinate resources and timelines to ensure prompt and accurate execution.
• Monitor inventory and collaborate with procurement for material planning.
  
  
  

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians.
• Conduct training on automation systems, safety standards, and customer service best practices.
  
  
  

System Maintenance & Optimization:

• Oversee ongoing performance and reliability of automation systems.
• Implement system upgrades and process improvements in line with technology trends and operational needs.
  
  
  

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure all systems and projects meet relevant industry and safety standards.
• Perform risk assessments and enforce mitigation strategies for safe operations.
  
  
  

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain detailed documentation on AFM orders, technical specifications, and progress updates.
• Provide regular reports on performance metrics, system uptime, customer feedback, and team productivity.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:


Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  
  
  

Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience in automation, fabrication, or maintenance, including leadership and client-facing roles.
  
  
  

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in PLC/SCADA programming, control systems, and robotics.
• Familiarity with fabrication processes and maintenance operations.
• Proficiency in tools such as E-Plan, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of IoT, Industry 4.0, and emerging AFM technologies.

• Capable of handling escalations and ensuring service excellence.
