The Automation Lead - Software QA - BBU (Baseband unit) will be responsible for managing, designing, and developing automation framework, having strong experience on python, 4G and 5G RAN E2E testing.

This position will be located in Bengaluru.

• Work on automation framework management, design and development for validationon JMA XRAN products. Responsible for quality, test automation toolsand best practices
• Responsible for designing, programming, integrating, testing andbug fixing involved in creating and maintaining automation frameworkdevelopment and automation testing
• Collaborate with software/hardware R&D QAteams, developers and project managers to understand the requirementsand ensure good testautomation coverage
• Provide automation test infrastructure toenable QA teams to test and deliver engineering releases
• Responsible for complete ownership of automation frameworkdevelopment deliverables. Assist team to troubleshoot issues
  

• 10+ yearsof Hands-on experience on python programming, shell scripting, JavaScript,HTML, JSON, XML, YAML, Rest APIs. Having knowledge on any database likePostgres etc
• Provenexperience as a Software Architect with the ability to design and overseehigh-level software system structures, make critical architectural decisions,and ensure scalability, performance, and alignment with business objectives,while guiding development teams with technical standards and best practices
• Bachelor’sdegree in computer engineering, Communication Engineering or equivalent.Masters preferred. 
• StrongKnowledge & Hands on experience on automation framework development likeRobot automation framework, Pytest, UI frameworks like Selenium, Appium orPlaywright
• Goodunderstanding of 5G and/or LTE Architecture, high-level understanding ofdifferent entities, roles of 5G/4G/ System and cloud-based RAN system isexpected
• Having CBRS Certified Professional Installer is preferred
• Abilityto understand and analyses logs for debugging issues, identifying the rootcause for the problems seen in framework development and during automationtesting
• Handson experience on UE Simulators, Core simulators used in 4G/5G testing.Knowledge of ADB commands, iperf tool, wireshark etc
• Hands-onexperience with Docker, Kubernetes, Podman and Openshift Container Platform
• Experiencein understanding the testcases and writing automation test scripts, executeand analyze
• Hands on experience with Linux, Networking, Git, any IDElike Visual Studio, Pycharm is a must
• Familiaritywith CI/CD, GIT, Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence
