Oversees the organization’s annual audit plans, evaluates budget and time requirements, and ensures the departmental employees allocate proper resources for testing and reviewing.
Assign tasks to staff and ensure that employees follow generally accepted auditing standards when reviewing operating controls, policies, and processes.
Reviews staff work, follows up with management on significant control problems, and issues a report to the company’s top leadership and audit committee.
Present audit findings to the president and make recommendations as to how management can place controls on fraudulent or wasteful practices.
Organizes training sessions for audit staff and audit supervisors and conducts annual performance evaluations for staff.
Leads and ensures the roll-out of the department's people development programs.
Handles the performance appraisal of direct reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
Must be a CPA
Proven working experience as an Auditor; 5 years or more work experience in a Managerial post
People-oriented and results-driven
Excellent active listening and presentation skills
Knowledge of Audit systems and databases is an advantage
Excellent skills in problem-solving and just decision-making
Policy-oriented
Able to relate to employees regardless of rank or position
Having experience working in a Manufacturing setting is an advantage
Willing to work in Novaliches, Quezon City
