Job Title: Audit Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our growing boutique CPA firm in Boston. The ideal candidate will lead audit engagements, mentor staff, and contribute to the firm's strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and execute audit engagements for various clients
2. Manage multiple audit teams and projects simultaneously
3. Review audit work papers and financial statements
4. Communicate with clients regarding audit findings and recommendations
5. Mentor and develop junior staff members
6. Identify and pursue new business opportunities
7. Ensure compliance with professional standards and firm policies
8. Contribute to the firm's quality control processes

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's preferred)
2. CPA certification
3. 7+ years of public accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
4. Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and other relevant accounting standards
5. Experience with audit software and data analytics tools
6. Excellent communication and leadership skills
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience in specific industries (e.g., technology, healthcare, financial services)
2. Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls
3. Familiarity with IFRS
