This role is for ambitious Senior Managers and Associate Directors who are looking for expedited progression! Our client is looking for a CPA qualified, Audit Professional in the Boston region. Our client is a growing boutique (200+ employees) firm with a variety of function offerings, covering business advisory, accounting, tax, audit & assurance, and private wealth management. This is a hybrid role (2 days in office or client site) with a direct path to Partner and offers great incentives such as unlimited PTO as well as many more.

Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance.
  • External auditing experience from large/small CPA firms with 8+ years of experience.
  • Combo candidates with external audit and corporate accounting and/or finance experience at a large public corporation are also considered.
  • CPA qualification is preferred.
  • Business Development experience.
  • Corporate accounting and/or finance experience at a large/mid-sized public corporations is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Services Board (FASB) rules and standards.
  • Strong computer desktop skills required. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., macros, pivot tables, etc.) desirable.
  • Demonstrated career progression and job stability.
  • A strong technical accounting experience in Non-profit, Manufacturing or Healthcare would be of interest but not a necessity.
