Job Description And Duties

Are you a professional interested in helping leadership to attract, retain and develop a well-qualified and diverse workforce that meets their current and future mission critical objectives? DTSC’s Regional Administrative Statewide Services Personnel Liaison Unit is looking for a motivated and innovative person to assist with DTSC’s programs through their workforce development and succession planning projects. This career position is for you if you are interested in learning and increasing your knowledge of how state departments conduct workforce analysis and how they identify programs for staff retention and development.

As an Associate Governmental Program Analyst you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the development of workforce and succession plans across DTSC to understand the workforce implications of current and future business operations and collaborate with programs around a plan to ensure there is a capable workforce to carry out the Department mission and meet business objectives
  • Ensure plans are aligned with DTSC’s strategic and operational business goals of the organization
  • Develop, analyze, and implement various components of the Workforce & Succession Plans relating to recruitment, outreach, employee engagement, institutional knowledge transfer, and retention strategies
  • Provide Personnel Liaison support to DTSC programs
  • Coordinate with Office Technician to maintain and update the tracking and monitoring of assigned RPA packages to ensure they are submitted on a timely basis
  • Work closely with Classification and Consultation and Talent Acquisitions to streamline the RPA process for timely submission

  • Statistics/Data Interpretation experience
  • Workforce and Succession Planning experience
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Experience with developing reports and presenting data
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Customer Service or client support experience
