We are looking for an Assistant Technical Manager / Senior Duty Engineer based at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong!

As an Assistant Technical Manager, we rely on you to:

  • Be responsible for operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of all Hotel equipment and facilities, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire safety and minor building works
  • Perform the Maintenance Work Order
  • Conduct regular testings, inspections and troubleshootings of Hotel electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure the operation are in accordance with acceptable engineering standards to achieve optimum operating efficiency
  • Conduct inspections on all operating equipment and machineries; and report any abnormalities
  • Closely monitor the performance of all service maintenance contractors
  • Distribute repair work orders to appropriate technicians/contractors
  • Follow-up and check reasons of outstanding repair work orders
  • Consolidate suggestions for the improvement of the system

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Diploma / Certificate in Building Services Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in repairing and maintenance of Hotel equipment and facilities; preferably minimum of 2 years as a Maintenance Supervisor
  • Holder of Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker A
  • Experience in the Hotel Industry would be an advantage
  • Knowledge in Hotel equipment and facilities preventive maintenance
  • Knowledge in fire safety
  • Knowledge in Hotel operations
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Duty Engineer
