The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts owns and operates two award-winning hotels in Singapore: The Fullerton Hotel Singapore (opened in 2001) and The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore (opened in 2010). Both hotels anchor the historic and cultural Fullerton Heritage precinct, located in Marina Bay - the heart of Singapore’s city centre. The Fullerton Hotel Sydney debuted in October 2019, in the historic former Sydney General Post Office, marking The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts’ first international expansion.

The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong will be the first waterfront resort on Hong Kong Island, with over 400 guest rooms overlooking the spectacular South China Sea, located at the foot of the city’s most popular attraction in the Southside.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Risk & Safety Manager in anticipating, recognizing, and planning for security and safety threats and hazards, reducing all aspects to manageable levels
• Conduct ongoing vulnerability assessments of the hotel and perform regular security and safety inspections
• Support the design and implementation of security plans, emergency response procedures, and policies; conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness and update existing policies and procedures as necessary
• Report to the Senior Risk & Safety Manager regarding assessments of the hotel’s security and safety situation
• Respond effectively to various emergency situations, ensuring that appropriate government agencies are promptly informed when assistance is required
• Maintain effective communication and working relationships with contracted security services and management
• Assist in administering the hotel’s key control program to prevent unauthorized access to the premises
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience, and/or training in similar capacity
• Diploma holder in related disciplines
• Possession of valid Security Personnel Permit
• Holder of First Aid Certificate
• Knowledge and experience with fire protection system and security control room
• Strong leadership capabilities with solid understanding of security operation, planning, investigation, and equipment
• Excellent people management SKILLS, demonstrating discipline and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
