=Objectives of the Position=

• Provide technical know-how and on-site service to assist in developing business models that includes understanding of customer needs and also formulate a targeted value proposition for TPU injection molding applications in FSL, CE, and etc. including new processing technology development, current portfolio processing evolution, and customer trouble analysis and shooting .
  
  

=Main Tasks=

[Technical Development]

• Provide fast and professional technical service to customers independently. Follow up customers' complains and issues in fast, efficient and professional manner.
• Be focus and professional at FSL and injection molding applications, technical support country sales team and regional TD team.
• Collect marketing information, develop new customers, and coordinate closely with sales to achieve sales target;
• Prepare and keep documentation of all technical activities, finish all works according to quality system requirements;
• Provide expert training to local Sales team
• Coordinate closely within internal team to ensure that consistent quality products are produced under required product specifications.
  
  

[Technical Service]

• Technical Implementation (new/current applications with existing solutions) .
• On-site and off-site technical support (e.g., Provide technical support to customers as trouble shooters and technical consultant, including handling/ follow-up complaints on technical related issues.
• Evaluates and optimizes processing/formulation aspects for (current/new) products (e.g., Visit customers to collect and analyze field information of customer expectations/ problems on product performance/ technical service needs to verify product suitability to application) .
• Supports customers in processing/formulation aspects .
• Provides expert opinion (with customer trials) answering customer inquiries and/or complaints, such as provide technical guidance / assistance to customer for product applications, including optimization, troubleshooting, and training of personnel to enhance sales services.
• Defines market attractiveness for current/new products (e.g., Provide competitive product performance information to verify .
• Manage routine work in accordance of BASF and local EHS regulation.
  
  

=Main Requirements=

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, major in Polymer Science or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in TPU industry, or related polymer industry (other elastomer), especially the experience of trouble shooting in injection processing.
• Good computer operation skill including good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Good command of English in reading and writing, English speaking skill is nice to have.
