Summary

What You Will Do

  • Work with both production sites, Anlon and Kingston, and customers to identify / translate customer unmet needs back to INVISTA team for product/process improvement.
  • Proactively seek and understand upcoming developing needs of the customer as well as market trends.
  • Build credibility and trust with the customer to solve quality, suitability, and technical issues. Drive continuous quality and improvement to improve INVISTA value in use for the customer.
  • Organize audits, technical communications, and visit to customers to understand their processes, requirements, and improve quality.
  • Work as part of INVISTA Asia Pacific technical service team, communicate with commercial team on quality expectations, weaving issues, competitor status fabric performance, etc…
  • Be the voice of the customer (VOC) for the Invista team; responsible to bridge internal team and customer’s interests.
  • On quality issues, work with site quality to prepare customer 8D report(s), investigation findings report(s), and explain to customer including any mitigations.
  • Support R&D / Site Technical for products technical validation/qualification process and MOC. Communicate key findings, opportunities, recommendations, etc…
  • Complete all qualification procedures of a trial to improve suitability and new programs development.
  • Participate with the customers, function team, and site by cooperating, sharing knowledge that will lead to transformational results.
  • Work as technical service for non-airbag customers, process small lot inventory.
  • Work with the global Tech Marketing team to share knowledge and key learnings.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Over 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Textile, Material Science or Chemical Engineering related.
  • Workable proficiency in English, with effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in independently handling customer technical services.
  • Understanding of weaving processes and knowledge in the textile industry.
  • Experience in automotive applications is preferred.
