The Assistant Manager, Network Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing an organization's technical support operations. The role involves managing a team of internal and external IT support specialists who are responsible for on-premise or cloud network infrastructure-related issues.

You Will Be Responsible For

• managing and monitor the technical team for maintaining and administering Unified Communication System, IT Network, Wireless Network, Extra Low Votage (ELV) Network, Mobile Network and Structured Cabling;
• overseeing IT network equipment life cycle including budgeting, evaluation, procurement, maintenance, upgrade, and retirement;
• providing technical advice on network infrastructure projects including greenfield projects and hardware refreshment projects;
• designing and implementing new network solutions to improve the efficiency and security of current networks;
• assisting in IT infrastructure planning and policy/standard/baseline formulation;
• managing the IT procurement process including approval paper and requirement specification; and
• handling of network infrastructure handover from the project including document review; configuration review and onsite inspection.
  
  

You Should

• possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• have at least 5 years of experience in the IT industry with network and wireless network infrastructure support;
• have strong experience in administering and supporting wired and wireless network infrastructure support, especially Huawei Switch, Cisco Switch, Router, wireless controller, F5 load balancer, Palo Alto firewall and FortiGate firewall;
• have experience in Cisco Unified Communication System and Mobile Network will be an advantage;
• be a holder of Cisco's CCNP/CCNA, CCNP/CCNA wireless and CCNP/CCNA Collaboration is an advantage;
• have experience in large-scale IT projects is preferred;
• be strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills including development and maintenance of technical documents;
• have good interpersonal skills and a good team player with work independence and self-motivation; and
• be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
