Position Overview:
PTAG Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in the EPC, construction, and engineering project environment, combined with, P&L development, budgeting, and financial analysis. This role is critical in supporting the financial health and strategic goals of the company.

- Financial Management and Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Support the Controller in preparing consolidated financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and monitor project budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective financial controls.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of P&L statements across projects and business units.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
- Support with conducting financial due diligence for potential acquisitions.
- Assist in integrating acquired entities into PTAG’s financial systems and processes.
- Assist with developing analysis and reporting on the financial impact of M&A activities.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Support audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial and operational performance.
- Act as a key financial resource for project managers and operational leaders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on EPC, construction, or engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence and integration.
- Proficiency in developing and analyzing P&L statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and financial software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
