We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Generator, Fuel and Fleet Manager to oversee our organization's generator systems, fuel management, and fleet operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust tracking systems for training, logs, and maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Generator Management:
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all generator systems
Track and manage generator performance, fuel consumption, and efficiency
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding generator operations
Coordinate regular inspections and testing of generator systems along with Engineering team
Fuel Management:
Oversee fuel inventory, ordering, and delivery processes
Implement fuel tracking systems to monitor usage and identify inefficiencies
Ensure proper fuel storage and handling procedures are followed
Fleet Management:
Manage the organization's vehicle fleet, including maintenance scheduling and repairs
Implement and maintain a fleet tracking system to monitor vehicle usage, mileage, and fuel consumption
Manage fleet and equipment-related risks and ensure compliance with JLL Cardinal Rules of Safety and other relevant HSSE procedures.
Coordinate vehicle acquisitions and disposals
Training Program Management:
Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for staff on generator operations, fuel management, and fleet safety
Track employee training completion and certifications
Maintain up-to-date training records and ensure compliance with required certifications
Log and Documentation Management:
Establish and maintain detailed logs for generator operations, fuel usage, and fleet activities
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
Implement digital solutions for efficient log tracking and reporting
Monitor and analyze performance metrics and KPIs for fleet vehicles, generators, and fuel equipment to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
Maintenance Planning:
Collaborate with Engineering Leadership to develop long-term maintenance plans for generators, fuel systems, and fleet vehicles
Create and manage maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation
Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and implement proactive measures
Reporting and Analysis:
Generate regular reports on generator performance, fuel consumption, and fleet operations
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
Present findings and recommendations to management
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet and equipment management or related role
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, leasing, and disposal processes
Experience in managing generators and fuel equipment operations and maintenance
Familiarity with emission standards and environmental regulations for vehicles and stationary equipment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in fleet and equipment management software and Microsoft Office suite
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred:
Professional certification in fleet management (e.g., CAFM, NAFA) or equipment management
Experience with sustainability initiatives in fleet and equipment management
Knowledge of HSE policies and procedures in a corporate environment
Familiarity with energy management and efficiency practices for generators and fuel systems
