Who are we looking for?
Our office in Honolulu, Hawaii is looking to bring onboard a motivated Architectural Intern to support the Property & Buildings group. As an Architectural Intern, you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for small projects or selected segments of a larger project. Performing design layouts and features, which require researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned project work

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Collaborating with design teams
- Drafting in Revit
- Research for projects
- Performing design calculations, sketches, and technical comparisons
- Reviewing and editing project specifications
- Preparing and editing designs and drawings recommended by Senior Architect
- Preparing portions of project documents
- Researching code and regulatory requirements
- Researching design options, component specifications, and document findings for Senior Architect and Job Manager
- Responding to contractor’s questions and preparing alternate designs as needed under the guidance of Senior Architect
- Performing analysis and design retrofit of new and existing facilities
What you will bring to the team:
- Positive attitude
- Willingness to work on all projects
- Collaboration mindset
- Basic knowledge of Revit drafting
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
