Position Description:

Seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to fill the role of Cloud Applications Software

Developer on our team in the Herndon, VA area. The ideal candidate will excel at designing, building,

and deploying highly scalable, resilient, performant systems. They should be open and willing to learn.

They will work with current application teams to understand the existing systems and how they interact.

Additionally, they will serve as an expert resource within the development team to troubleshoot

operational issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related or an additional 6 years of experience in lieu of degree
• Demonstrated proficiency using NiFi
• 6+ years of Java experience
• 2+ years of C2S experience (including EC2, S3, and CloudFormation)
  
  
  

Desired Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in continuous integration and delivery tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins)
• Experience with Spring Boot and REST Service Development
• Demonstrated experience using Elasticsearch
• Demonstrated experience using Kafka
• Demonstrated experience with datasets both relational and NoSQl databases (e.g., MongoDB, MS SQL Server, Postgres)
• Demonstrated experience with Docker containers
