AS AN APPLICATION SUPPORT - SYSTEM ANALYST YOU WILL…

  • Provide level 1-3 service request management to defined SLA’s across multiple applications.
  • Tend to daily/weekly/monthly re-occurring administration tasks.
  • Write SQL queries to perform required database create, read, update and delete operations as well as perform large data uploads and report extracts.
  • Proactively perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of required issues.
  • Being involved in handovers of new functionality, services, and processes from development to support.
  • Perform regular system refreshes and upgrades.
  • Propose improvements to current processes and develop new processes to reduce ticket volume.
  • Develop and maintain internal knowledgebase articles where needed.


A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU

Essential

  • At least 3 years experience in an IT Service Management role providing level 1-3 application support.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL queries, scripting, joins and stored procedures.
  • Advanced technical and analytical skills with the ability to perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues.
  • Experience supporting SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Experience supporting applications on Microsoft Azure through Application Insights
  • Experience with process management and process improvement.
  • Experience with .Net development language.
  • Understanding of the Software Delivery Life Cycle and Agile Scrum methodology.


Desirable

  • Knowledge of Atlassian toolsets (Jira and Confluence).
  • Basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript experience.
  • ITIL v3 or v4 certified.
