As an Application Support Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in optimising collaboration and productivity across the business through the support, enhancement, and implementation of core business systems. Leading a high-performing, customer-focused team, you’ll work strategically to automate processes, reduce downtime, and enable the adoption of new technology through the Microsoft 365 stack.

This is a hands-on leadership role where your ability to build relationships, manage competing priorities, and communicate clearly with a range of business stakeholders will be essential - especially when navigating complex decisions, system changes, or business impacts.

This will be a full time, permanent position based in the Sydney office, with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and drive the strategic direction, performance and sustainability of the MS365 application portfolio, including Power Platform, SharePoint, Dynamics 365 CRM & Atlassian products.
  • Develop tailored SharePoint and Power Apps solutions to optimise collaboration and productivity within the organisation.
  • Design and implement efficient SharePoint sites, lists, and workflows to streamline business operations.
  • Remain abreast of emerging trends and best practices in SharePoint and Power Apps development, incorporating innovative methodologies into projects.
  • Identify and evaluate individual and organisational development needs.
  • Foster a culture of information management excellence.
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of SharePoint and Power Apps solutions to ensure robust performance.
  • Implement application changes in a safe and controlled manner following the EML change procedure

About You

  • Full Australian working rights without restriction.
  • 6+ years of experience in a technology role within a fast-paced business environment
  • Strong background in mentoring, guiding, and leading technical teams, with expertise in managing escalations and complex support issues.
  • Qualifications in M365 and ITIL Service Management.
  • Extensive experience supporting the M365 suite, particularly SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Expertise in supporting and customising the Dynamics 365 CRM platform.
  • Proficient in deploying and managing flows and applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Knowledge of Atlassian Jira/Confluence and Microsoft Power Platform Centre of Excellence (CoE) is preferred.
