Position Overview
The Application Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the D365 application users.
The position focuses on Tier1 user support in D365 CE and FnO applications. The position act as the first point of contact for application user for any issue or challenge.
What You’ll Do As The Application Support Engineer

- Experience working with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and/or CE, either as and end user or support role or a developer role.
- Experience working in an order-to-cash environment (placing orders, shipping them, invoicing them). Procure-to-pay is acceptable as well. Most of our questions come up around the sales order processing flow, Finance O2C, P2P, Tax.
- Troubleshooting skills – ability to assess and apply what they have learned in one issue to another issue, attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with the next level of support – capturing complete information on the issue before escalating, providing steps already taken in troubleshooting, etc.
- Ability to write runbook/knowledgebase articles for use in future activities
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for writing queries.
- Good at learning business processes and application functionality
- Good/ Moderate proficiency in D365 F&O and CE modules
- Record and resolve support issues and escalate as required
- Ensure root causes are identified and appropriately communicated and documented.
What You Will Bring To The Team
- BE/ BA/BS in Computer Science, or in any related field
- 3-6 years required of experience in D365 user or as a support role.
- Knowledge on CICD/Devops, SDLCs, QA methodologies is added advantage.
- Knowledge on Azure , Monitoring, Observability is added advantage.
- Fast learner and good problem-solving skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple users and systems
- Team player & Consider it done mindset.
- Background in D365 F&O and CE preferred
