Job Description:

The Application Support Engineer is responsible for providing Level 2 and Level 3 technical

support for enterprise applications developed in Java and .NET, running on JBoss and IIS.

This role ensures stable application performance, incident resolution, minor enhancements, and supports deployments across cloud and on-premises environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve application incidents and defects

• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to analyze root causes

• Perform code-level debugging and log analysis (Java/.NET)

• Deploy application patches and assist in release activities

• Support integration components and API endpoints

• Liaise with database administrators to resolve query- or schema-related issues

• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base

• Participate in performance tuning and application optimization

• Support the implementation of CI/CD and monitoring tools as needed

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in application development and support role.

• Strong experience in .NET and/or Java application development and support

• Familiarity with application servers (JBoss, IIS)

• Experience in Oracle and MS SǪL environments

• Proficient in debugging, log tracing, and root cause analysis

• Exposure to DevOps, version control, and basic automation is a plus

• Good communication and collaboration skills.
