As a Support Application Engineer, you will be working for our client – a leading financial institution focused on risk monitoring and production support. You will be responsible for providing top-notch production support and ensuring high availability of critical applications.

Your main responsibilities:

• Provide production support with dedicated KPIs to end-users for all application issues.
• Investigate and debug logs and source code to find bugs and issues.
• Effectively manage and solve production incidents.
• Work in a 1st / 2nd / 3rd line IT Support role.
• Proactively update users on the progress of outstanding support.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure in compliance with established SLAs.
• Contribute to continuous automation and improvement of applications.
• Enhance user satisfaction by solving incidents/problems efficiently.
• Ensure proper troubleshooting and incident follow-up.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

You're ideal for the role if you have:

• Academic background in Computer Science, Economics, or Finance.
• Passion and experience in 3rd line IT Support role tasks.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship management, and communication skills.
• Proven experience in PL/SQL and SQL programming languages.
• Understanding of object-oriented languages.
• Familiarity with basic financial concepts.
• Proficient in English.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Oracle, IQ, ASE, Hive databases.
• Experience with VBA, SQL Workbench, GitLab, Control-M, BitBucket, CFT, Jenkins, Kafka, Big Data, Unix.
• Familiarity with basic ITIL.
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence.
• Knowledge of French.
