Job : Application Support Engineer – Finance & Securities

Location: Dallas, TX or Tampa, FL (Hybrid)

Role Overview:

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer with expertise in Java/J2EE, Oracle/SQL, IBM MQ, and AWS to monitor and resolve application issues, enhance application performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues in production.
• Implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence of critical incidents.
• Collaborate with internal teams for issue resolution and documentation updates.
• Validate audit-related responses and assist in disaster recovery planning.
• Identify automation opportunities to enhance monitoring efficiency.
• Deploy pre-production and production application code.
• Ensure compliance with risk and control processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in application support or development.
• Proficiency in: Java/J2EE, Oracle/SQL, IBM MQ, ITIL processes (SNOW), Splunk, and Autosys.
• Platform experience: Linux/Unix, AWS.
• Preferred skills: Containers (Kubernetes/Docker), IIB, and networking fundamentals.
• Finance & Securities domain knowledge is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and team collaboration skills.
