Job Summary: The Application Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to customers and internal teams regarding BD’s medical devices (Blood culture, ID/AST, Maldi-Tof, TB culture) and systems. This role involves working closely with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful product implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and training to customers on BD’s medical devices and systems.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of products.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for customers and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in medical technology.
• Document and report customer feedback and issues to the engineering and product development teams.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote BD’s products and services.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, biomedical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support or application specialist role within the medical device industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of medical devices and systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Experience with BD’s product portfolio.
• Advanced degree in a related field.
